Policies & Procedures
Attendance Policy
- Members are allotted no more than three (3) absences and six (6) substitutions within each six (6) month period. I.e., January - June
- If a Member arrives late to a meeting it is a half of an absence.
- If a Member arrives/leaves 15 minutes after the meeting has begun or before the meeting ends, this will be considered half an absence. This also applies to substitutes.
- If a Member does not prepare their substitute with a “60 Second” Business Pitch, then that is considered an absence instead of a substitution.
- Any absence beyond three (3) will open a Member’s Category. Once a category is open, the Member will have to reapply, submit ALL fees, and be subject to the entire application process.
- Membership has the discretion to excuse/not count an absence in the case of an emergency, for example: a death in the family or a medical issue, or illness.
